I ran in high school and for the University of New Hampshire.  I got hurt my fifth year and didn't run for 6 years.  Now I am trying to get back in shape and make a sort of comeback.  You can follow my training and racing at http://www.runhockrun.blogspot.com

Since this is a running site I will share my PRs and career highlights

800: 1:56.09 (high school 1998)

1500: 3:53

Mile: 4:05.26 indoors

3000: 8:05 indoors

5000: 14:20

10000: 29:53

Career Highlights

  • 2002 ICAAAA indoor 3000m runner-up
  • 2002 X-C Pre-National Blu Race 12th place, 18th overall (24:12)
  • Two-time America East Conference Runner-up (23:51 Franklin Park)
  • 2002 Region II XC 5th place, individual NCAA qualifier
  • 2002 NCAA XC Championship 58th place

Other than running I enjoy hiking, backpacking, being a scientist (yes, I am a proud nerd), teaching science, canoeing, and photography.  Mostly I focus on close-up photography but I'll take pictures of anything that catches my eye.  You can see my pictures at www.hockingphotography.smugmug.com
